Superbowl 50, and not Roman numeral L, will be held in San Francisco in 2016 for the upcoming football season. Levi’s Stadium, the new home of the San Francisco 49ers will be the venue. The new state of the art stadium is equipped with state of the art technology and creature comforts. With capacity of 100k, it is sure to be a loud venue.

Early odds have the usual suspects as the favorites to win Superbowl 50. You have the Packers, Patriots, Seahawks and Steelers as a few of the favorites to go all the way. The offseason is sure to bring a lot of changes to the NFC and AFC climate. No big moves have been made yet but some big name free agents might be available. The Cowboys have stated their interest in signing Dez Bryant to a long term contract but will use to franchise tag on him if no deal is in place before the start of training camp.

Regardless of who is in the Superbowl, this one is sure to be a memorable one. The 49ers, under new leadership, have a lot of work to do if they want to be the first home team to host and play in a Superbowl.
